The Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle celebrated our Third Annual Luncheon on October 8, 2009 at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, in Seattle, Washington. MAMAS presented its Leadership and Justice Award to the Honorable Debra L. Stephens, Washington State Supreme Court. The award is given to an individual who has paved the way to success for and has served as an inspiration to other women attorneys striving to excel in their legal careers while balancing family demands. Justice Stephens is an outstanding example of a lawyer who has successfully managed both career and motherhood. We thank her and Justice Mary Fairhurst for their inspirational words.
