The Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle celebrated our Fourth Annual Luncheon on October 26, 2010 at the W Hotel, in Seattle, Washington. MAMAS presented its Leadership and Justice Award to Connie Collingsworth, General Counsel and Secretary of Foundation Operations for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The award is given to an individual who has paved the way to success for and has served as an inspiration to other women attorneys striving to excel in their legal careers while balancing family demands. Ms. Collingsworth is an outstanding example of a lawyer who has successfully managed both career and motherhood.
