The Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle celebrated our Fifth Annual Luncheon on November 10, 2011, at the W Hotel Seattle. MAMAS presented its Leadership and Justice Award to the Honorable Betty Fletcher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The award is given to an individual who has paved the way to success for and has served as an inspiration to other women attorneys striving to excel in their legal careers while balancing family demands. Judge Fletcher is an outstanding example of a lawyer who paved the way for women lawyers while managing both career and motherhood.
